Butler Creek Lodge had no branding when they called on us to create a logo, website, and brochure to improve their position as a long-established lodging business. The most obvious point of identity was this marvelous, crooked tree as you enter the property. It is the perfect symbol for this unique resort.
The Pelican Bar & Grill logo was created for a hotel lounge in Georgia. I drew this logo while working at DesignSight in Seattle. It is a hand-brushed pelican flying on the horizon as well as brushed typography. Hands-down one of my favorites.
